Applied Optoelectronics Announces Completion of At the Market Offering
Sugar Land, TX, March 3, 2017 – Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAOI), a leading provider of fiber-optic access network products for the internet datacenter, cable broadband, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and telecom markets, today announced the completion of its previously-announced $50.0 million “at the market” common stock offering. The company sold a total of 1,584,620 shares, raising net proceeds (after sales commissions) of $49.0 million. Of the total shares issued under the offering, 459,020 shares were sold in 2017 and 1,125,600 shares were sold in 2016.
